Job Description:

1. Product Training to Sales team, OPC and Execution.
2. Preparing and releasing standard product specifications and presentations for use by the Marketing teams.
3. Preparing application notes for explaining different applications of the existing products/services.
4. Strategic liaison between the sales, NPD for sharing Competitive information, market information and the needs / requirements of customers as input for various product enhancement / improvement / development.
5. Pre-tender, tender and post order product review and support to sales, OPC and PO execution.
6. Capturing the development requirements from tender, customer discussion, sales team and contract reviews and get the development done with proper BCA according to the customer needs.
7. Conducting Field trial / UAT for new products.
8. Carrying out product promotion activities like road shows, papers, lectures and conferences.
9. Discussion and review with Product Portfolio group for Roadmap review and Strategic Product development.
10. Half-yearly revision and release of Standard product specifications / presentations for all the products/services handled.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• To cater to the day today and long term business needs of the SBU by enhancing the technical knowledge of the sales team, look after the short term and long term product requirements of SBU and create applications of the product lines for the sales team.
• Minimum 6 years in electrical industry, exposure to metering devices, panel instruments, switchgears, control panels, energy management
• Must have at least 3 years experience in selling / business development / product management in the above mentioned areas
• Preferred hands on development experience in any of these devices
