Asst. Manager/Dy. Manager/Manager - Mechanical for Learning & Development Centre of an leading Independent Power Producer


B.Tech/M.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) + Post Gradute Diploma from National Power Training Institute (NPTI)
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Designing the course curriculum for the existing and future training programs of the institute  
  • Handling classroom/in-plant lecture/training sessions on Power Plant Engineering in Electrical and related areas
  • Handling simulator training sessions on 300 MW Operator Training Simulator
  • Technical content development for knowledge repository and virtual institute initiative of the Institute
  • Coordinating with collaborating institutes in terms of teaching and research activities
  • Participating in necessary Institute functions and outreach programs of the Institute
  • Foster student/trainee development, maintain Institute facilities and serve as academic adviser/mentor
Job Requirements: 
  • Excellent acumen for teaching/training  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to advance knowledge/competence domain on an ongoing basis  
  • Analytical skills and interpersonal skills  
  • Excellent Command over English language – written and spoken  
  • 5-10 years of experience in a related industry/power plant  
  • Experience in teaching will be an added advantage
