Lead - Structures (Erection)

Position :                 Superintendent - Structural Erection
Project Location:    Mauritania   
Age Limit:                Not beyond 52 years

Job Role:   

• Overall responsible for the Erection and Alignment of all types of heavy & medium structure viz. Building Structures, platforms, Technological Structures viz. Diesel Storage Tanks, Ore Storage Bins, Process Material  Transfer Chutes and  Material Handling Systems viz. Conveyors Galleries, Conveyor Frames, Bridges etc.
• Preparation and implementation of erection philosophy including pre assembly and modularization.
• Preparation and implementation of lifting plans, safe lifting procedures, structural handling procedures etc including risk assessment and mitigation plans.
• Preparation and implementation of rigging plan, crane marching and crane positioning plan.
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources viz. Cranes & other construction equipments and manpower.
• Inspection, Storage & handling of building & technology structures.
• To execute site fabrication and modification of structures.
• Coordination for certification & clearance for final alignment and commissioning with Client & other stake holders.
• Conduct competency tests for fitters, welders, cutters & riggers.
• Ensure international quality, safety, environment standards during project execution.
• Efficiently & effectively manage client, vendors and sub-contractors at the project site.
• Lead, Train & Motivate a team comprising of diverse demography, cultures & socio economic backgrounds.

Required Qualifications:   
Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical

• Should have excellent man management skills.
• Should have fluency in English and working knowledge in French & Arabic Language.

Experience Required:   
 

15 to 20 years of experience in execution of Structural Erection jobs related to heavy industry & processing plants

• Capability in project monitoring tools viz. Primavera, Wrench, SAP etc.
